Summary: I have worked in the UX field for about 10 years in IT consultancies, digital agencies and product companies. I’ve had roles like Interaction designer, UX designer, UX/UI designer, Product owner and worked in tools like Adobe Suite, Omnigraffle, Invision, Sketch, Figma & Miro.

Hi, I’m Jenny and I have been UX designer for 10 years.

My latest and longest employment were at Bonnier News Tech where I was for 5 years. The first 3 years I was in a product team that developed and maintained the publishing tools that were used by Dagens Nyheter, Expressen, Dagens industri and other magazines to produce articles. I was also UX designer in a team where a new tool was developed from scratch to support publishing the articles to the sites. For one year I was also the Product owner of this team which was a great experience since I like working with goals, strategy and work processes.

Back in 2011, I started my journey at the IT consultancy Avanade which is a company specialized in Microsoft products. I worked on many Ericsson projects during this time with UX design, held training courses and had some assignments abroad - in Norway, Denmark and for Universal Music in Paris.

In 2014 I changed to United & You, a small digital agency where I only did interaction design and had clients like Telenor but also smaller gigs with Ink Club, Resia and Beautyplanet. My next job was also a digital agency, Britny, where the deliveries were Atomic design-based component solutions for clients like Plan Sverige, Trioptima and Svenska Institutet. I did Interaction design and co-planned one project to ensure the client’s needs were met. After Britny closed down I was a consultant at Tre for some months where I focused on the portal för logged in users, the contact page and GDPR functionality.

Aside from work, I have always been interested in both the human side of things as well as creativity & design which led me to choosing my education, Interaction and design in Umeå university whih combines the two. Recently I learned about Positive psychology & Neuroscience which gave me more insight in understanding how the the brain, feelings and thoughts are connected. I also enjoy dancing! It gives me great joy and I also love the community feeling that comes with it.

Now I look for new challenges! 🌱
